Silvermine Dual Language School’s Reisli Maldonado Quintero, a third grader, proudly recited her award-winning essay “My Superpower.” Reisli won first place in the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) “Being Bilingual” Essay Competition at the Elementary School level, and she will present her essay next week at the NABE conference in New Orleans.
